Stacy Albahari, M.S., CBCC-KA, CBST, ABCDT is the Behavior Consultant behind Golden Beauties Driven to Doodles, LLC dog breeding .

Stacy is educated through courses as well as years of hands on experience in canine behavior modification, veterinary assisting and canine breeding as well as human and animal psychology.
Stacy completed her post Masters Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2020.
Stacy began working as a dog trainer when she moved back to Rochester NY (Oct 2002) from being an OTR Truck Driver & Furniture Mover. She chose dog training because it aligned with her education in the healthcare field, she was aspiring to return to college for an education in veterinary science and to eventually become a DVM. Stacy took ABCDT's dog trainer course in 2002-2003, in 2003 attended the APDT's conference in Orlando Florida for the entire 5 days of sessions.
Stacy quickly progressed as the top trainer in Rochester NY between 2003-2004 and then the top behavior consultant in Rochester NY in the mid 2000's, with extensive education and experience in training dogs with severe behavior problems and utilizing behavior change programming to modify canine behavior. This work was taxing, seeing so many families disrupted because of their dogs poor breeding or prior abuse, very sad, and not to mention the confusion, and dismay in these poorly treated or bred dogs!
" I chose to start breeding a few years after putting down my rescue dog, at the time I was a canine behavior consultant working towards veterinary school admission but I chose to change my goal to psychology because I found that it fit better in the behavioral model that I preached to my clients.
Before even choosing the breed of the Golden Retriever I underwent several courses in veterinary science and canine breeding to educate myself before setting foot into something so novel to me." Stacy 2020
In 2007 Stacy was working towards a degree in Psychology as well as beginning her 4 year coursework with Companion Science Animal Institute in Canada under James O'Heare, completing with a Diploma in Canine Behavioral Science and Technology in 2011, a few years after completing a BS in Psychology, thereafter sitting for the CCPDT's certificate for behavior consultants (CBCC-KA) and successfully passing it in 2012 (*renewed in 2017 through CEU's and is current!). In 2012 Stacy also completed her Masters degree in Psychology.
"In 2005 I started obtaining my first Goldens for breeding, Ginger and Bolt and then in 2007 Geddy and then they just grew in numbers! "
"In the beginning breeding was more so for me to just collect my own dogs because you really cant have just one, or two, or three... Anyway after that I started working with the autistic population which brought me to breeding doodles for service work and since then it has been my primary position to breed and train my own dogs that eventually become service and emotional support dogs, they gain the service dog training on their own with their family while bonding with them, I do the preliminary manners." Stacy 2020
Health testing has always been of extreme importance but temperament is extremely important as well and it is imperative that each and every dog here is capable of producing therapy or emotional support dogs so each dog is fully examined physically and mentally to ensure the proper traits are to be passed on.
